FPGA Development Engineer

To strengthen the FPGA team, Napatech, the leading provider of reconfigurable computing, is looking for a passionate FPGA Development Engineer with a keen interest in working within digital hardware design and the networking industry.

Working at Napatech

The FPGA Development Engineer will join the FPGA team which is part of the R&D department located in Søborg, Copenhagen. You will be part of a team consisting of experienced FPGA developers and architects and work in close collaboration with both hardware, software, and system test developers as part of our agile project model.

You will be involved in most aspects of digital hardware design from module level to system level including requirement breakdown, design, implementation, verification, and documentation.

You are fluent in English both verbally and in writing and if you understand Danish, it is an advantage.

Education & Qualification

Educational background within digital hardware design – minimum a B.Sc. Preferably, you have 3+ years of industry experience within design of complex digital systems within the FPGA/ASIC industry.

The ideal candidate has experience with:

• Design and implementation of complex digital systems at all hierarchy levels ranging from module to system level
• RTL design, implementation and verification (preferably in Verilog / System Verilog)
• Documentation of complex digital systems

And is familiar with one or more of the following topics:

• FPGA design, implementation, verification and bring-up
• Deeply pipelined architectures
• Networking industry and trends (5G, NFV, Datacenters)
• Ethernet at all link speeds
